Amatara Wellness Resort is a luxury escape on the south-east coast of Thailand's idyllic Phuket Island. The resort's central concept revolves around creating happiness through balancing body and mind with fitness activities, healthy diet and relaxing therapies. Cleansing the body of the daily toxins we take in from the air, our water and our food, the Amatara detox programme aims to relieve sluggishness, bloating and discomfort, while restoring energy, improving complexion and aiding weight loss.
The professionally guided detox programme provides space and time for the body to clean out a restores a natural balance. Through diet, supplements and detoxifying treatments, the programme encourages the body’s natural elimination processes. The gentle but comprehensive programme is effective in delivering results through a variety of treatments, including juice cleansing, colon hydrotherapies, Ayurvedic, Thai and signature Amatara treatments.

There are seven different types of rooms and villas at Amatara: Bay View Suite, Ocean Pavilion, Cape Panwa Suite, Sea View Suite, Pool Pavilion, Bay View Pool Villa and Ocean View Pool Villa. Each of the 22 pavilions and 48 suites features its own private balcony with sea views, while the 35 pool villas at our five-star hotel in Phuket have their own private pool.
Each room and villa includes free wi-fi, satellite TV, a mini bar and coffee machine, air conditioning, hair dryer, bathrobes and comfort amenities, twice-daily maid services and butler services.
Smoking indoors or in any of the public areas and facilities is prohibited.
The wellness programmes are full board, including three healthy cuisine meals per day (a la carte) or a set detox programme menu at the retreat. Restaurants include Siri, Scene, Senses, Sun & Moon, Stories, Pool Terrace and The Beach Table.
